15-Pin Breakaway Header for Legacy Board-to-Board Links
The unshrouded, push-pull design lets you snap off sections for custom pin counts — handy for prototyping or low-volume production runs where you need a non-standard position count. The mating finish is 100 µinch tin-lead on both the pin and the post. Tin-lead was standard before RoHS; if your assembly line is RoHS-compliant, you will need a lead-free alternative.
TE Connectivity lists the 1-146133-3 as Obsolete. There is no official successor from TE that is pin-for-pin compatible. The AMPMODU Mod II series has been superseded by newer families with RoHS-compliant finishes and different footprints — a board redesign is likely required for a direct drop-in. We source the 1-146133-3 through independent distribution channels. Availability is lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ.
The header is surface-mount (SMT) with solder termination. The 0.100" pitch is a standard footprint that routes easily on two-layer boards — no fine-pitch fan-out required. The insulation height of 0.090" (2.29 mm) and mating pin length of 0.320" (8.13 mm) set the mated stack height; confirm your receptacle's mating depth to avoid bottoming out.
