The white thermoplastic insulation material carries a -55°C ~ 105°C operating range, making it suitable for environments from cold storage to underhood automotive or industrial cabinets where the connector sees temperature cycling.
1.00mm Pitch — The Footprint Decider
The 0.039" (1.00mm) pitch is the single most important fit parameter. It sets the board layout density and rules out any wider-pitch receptacle. At 1.00mm, the contact spacing is tight enough that the mating header must also be a 1.00mm-pitch HPI series part — there is no cross-compatibility with 2.54mm or 2.00mm pitch families. The single-row, 10-position layout keeps the connector narrow, which helps when routing traces between the pads on the PCB.
Contacts Not Included — Don't Order Half a Connection
Without the mating contacts, the housing is just a shell — the BOM needs the correct crimp terminals and the matching header to complete the wire-to-board interconnect.
