What This Barrier Block Does
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 1-1546306-0 is a 10-circuit, dual-row barrier strip with a 0.374" (9.50 mm) pitch, designed for panel or chassis-mount power distribution. Each of the 20 wire entries accepts 12-22 AWG conductors, terminated via nickel-plated steel screws against a closed bottom — no through-board access, so wiring lands from the top only. The 2 Wall (Dual) barrier construction isolates adjacent terminals, reducing the chance of accidental shorting between circuits in a crowded cabinet.
The 0.374" (9.50 mm) pitch is the centre-to-centre distance between adjacent circuits. The mounting flange provides through-holes for screw-down mounting.
The 12-22 AWG range covers the most common power and control wire sizes in industrial cabinets. Strip length is per standard barrier-block practice — the screw clamp presses the conductor against the bottom of the terminal well. The closed bottom means no wire tail protrudes below the block, which simplifies panel layout and keeps debris out.
