Panel Wiring Terminal Selection
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 1-1546306-2 is a 12-circuit barrier terminal block with a 0.374" (9.50 mm) pitch, designed for chassis or panel mounting. It uses dual-wall barriers and screw top termination, accepting 12-22 AWG wire.
The 12-22 AWG wire range covers common control circuit conductors from heavy power feeds (12 AWG) down to signal-level wiring (22 AWG). Termination is via steel screws with nickel finish — the closed bottom termination means the screw clamps the wire against the current-carrying bar without a through-hole, so stripped wire length needs to be consistent for full contact. The 24 wire entries (two rows of 12) allow daisy-chaining or dual-feed per circuit.
