12-Circuit Barrier Block for Power Distribution
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 1-1546670-2 is a 12-circuit barrier strip with a 0.437" (11.10mm) pitch, designed for panel-mount power distribution where screw termination and high current capacity are required. Each circuit is rated 25A at 300V, and the dual-wall barrier (2 Wall) provides physical isolation between adjacent terminals, reducing the risk of arcing or accidental shorting. The block accepts 14-22 AWG wire, and the closed bottom keeps the terminations enclosed from the mounting surface.
The 300V voltage rating, combined with the 0.437" pitch and dual-wall barrier, gives enough creepage for industrial control panel wiring without forcing an oversized footprint. The 14-22 AWG wire range covers the common power and control wire sizes used in panel building. The nickel-plated steel screws are corrosion-resistant and provide a reliable clamping force on stranded or solid wire.
Construction and Mounting
This barrier block uses screw top termination with a closed bottom — the closed bottom means the terminations are fully enclosed, preventing accidental contact with the chassis or panel. The mounting type is chassis or panel mount, and the flange on each end provides a secure bolting point. The dual-row configuration gives 24 wire entries (12 per row), allowing two wires per circuit if needed.
