What the Sealing and Temperature Range Mean for Your Application
The 'Sealed' feature means the housing accepts an interfacial seal and wire seals (typically part of the mating receptacle or individual wire seals) to keep moisture and contaminants out of the contact interface. The -40°C to 140°C range is wide enough for engine-bay use and steam-cleaning cycles — but the IP rating is only valid when the connector is fully mated and the slide-on fastening is engaged. An unmated half has no ingress protection, so cap the open side during service.
This housing accepts crimp tab contacts — the terminals are ordered separately. The 2-row layout with 6.00 mm row spacing accommodates larger-gauge wire.
