Sealing and Environmental Rating
This housing carries an IP67 and IP69K rating when mated with the corresponding receptacle and fitted with the correct seals. IP67 means it withstands immersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes; IP69K adds resistance to high-pressure, high-temperature washdown jets — the kind found in food processing, agricultural sprayers, and off-road vehicle underbody cleaning. The -40°C to 140°C operating range covers engine-bay and industrial cabinet extremes without the housing becoming brittle or deforming. The glass-filled PBT insulation material holds dimensional stability across that range.
Termination and Contact Note
The housing uses a latch holder fastening system — a positive locking ramp that clicks into place on the mating receptacle. The contacts are crimp-terminated tab-style (male), and the housing itself has no contacts included. The free-hanging design means no panel cutout or mounting hardware is required — the connector sits in-line on the harness.
