Board-to-wire header for a locked-in connection

What the 9A rating and locking ramp mean in the field
The 9A per-contact rating at 600VAC is the ceiling for a single circuit; in a 14-position harness the total current is limited by the bundle derating and the temperature rise of the nylon housing (UL94 V-2). The locking ramp is the real differentiator here — without it, a 4.20mm header this wide (14 circuits) can unseat from cable strain alone. If the application sees frequent connect/disconnect, gold-plated contacts in the same series are worth a look.
