Product details

MMCX Receptacle for 6 GHz Signal Paths

The TE Connectivity 1-1634009-0 is a Greenpar-series MMCX receptacle — a subminiature push-on RF connector built for board-level signal routing up to 6 GHz. This is the female socket side, single-port, with a snap-on coupling that gives a positive click on mate without requiring a wrench or torque tool. The 50 Ohm characteristic impedance matches standard RF system impedance, so the return loss stays clean through the interconnect when the board trace and cable assembly are designed to the same target.

The 6 GHz max frequency is the 1 dB compression point for the return loss — above that the VSWR rises and the signal path degrades. For a 5G sub-6 GHz radio or a WiFi 6E access point, this connector sits inside the usable band with margin.

The receptacle mounts through a plated hole in the PCB and the centre contact and shield legs are soldered on the opposite side. The shield termination is solder as well — no press-fit or crimp ring.
