Termination is IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection), which eliminates individual wire stripping and crimping — the cable is pressed onto the bifurcated contacts in one operation. The wire gauge range of 26-28 AWG covers the most common ribbon cable sizes for internal signal harnesses. A feed-through design allows the cable to pass through the connector body, and the integrated strain relief protects the termination point from flex damage at the cable exit.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
