50-Position Ribbon Cable Termination Point
The TE Connectivity AMP-Latch 1-1658620-0 is a 50-position IDC receptacle designed for mass-termination to 0.100" pitch ribbon cable. It accepts 26-28 AWG wire, using forked contacts plated with 15.0µin of gold for reliable signal connections in repeated-mate applications. The black housing mounts free-hanging (in-line) and includes a feed-through feature that lets the ribbon cable pass through the connector body, simplifying daisy-chain wiring in backplane or peripheral harness assemblies.

The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch on both rows and the 0.100" row spacing matches the standard ribbon cable grid — no special cable or tooling required.
