Panel-Mount Plug Housing for Harsh Environments
The 4.00 mm pitch spaces the terminals wide enough to handle the creepage needed for the sealed duty, and the glass-filled PBT housing holds its shape through the -40°C to 140°C operating range. This is a panel-mount shell with a mounting flange and a slide-on fastening system, designed to lock into a matching receptacle on the other side of an enclosure wall or bulkhead.
What the Sealed Flange Means for the Build
The mounting flange and sealed construction tell you this housing is meant for a panel feed-through — it bolts to the enclosure wall, and the seal keeps washdown or road spray out of the cabinet. The slide-on mate cycles quickly in assembly, but the locking relies on the receptacle side having the matching ramp or latch. For the wiring side, this is a crimp-termination housing: you insert the MCP 1.5K tab contacts (sold separately — the housing ships empty) and the terminal position assurance (TPA) in the mating receptacle confirms full seat.
ROHS3 compliance is confirmed. This is a single-source TE part; there is no official second-source cross-reference in the series.
