2-Position Receptacle Housing for the Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK Line
The locking ramp engages audibly when the receptacle is pushed into the mating plug, giving the harness builder a tactile confirmation of full mate. Because the housing is free-hanging — no panel-mount ears or snap-in features — it floats in the harness, which simplifies routing in tight enclosures but means the connector pair relies entirely on the locking ramp and the wire strain relief for retention.
Contacts Not Included — What Fits
This housing ships without contacts. The Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK series uses separate crimp terminals — both male and female pins — that must be ordered as line items. The housing accepts either contact gender, which means a single housing type can serve as either the receptacle half in a harness, depending on which terminal is loaded.
