Product details

Board-fit and routing density

The 1.00 mm pitch is a middle ground between ultra-fine 0.50 mm and coarser 1.25 mm — it frees up board space compared to 1.25 mm without demanding the fine-line routing that 0.50 mm requires. The vertical orientation places the FPC entry perpendicular to the PCB, useful when the cable needs to rise off the board rather than extend parallel to it.

ZIF actuation and cable retention

The slide lock is a positive mechanical latch — it won't back out under vibration the way a simple friction lock might.

Flash plating is thin — typically under 0.1 µm — so it's adequate for occasional reconnects but not for frequent field-service cycles. The rated 20 mating cycles reflects that: enough for one or two cable swaps during manufacturing and maybe one field replacement, but not for daily disconnect. If your application needs hundreds of cycles, step up to a connector with thicker gold (15–30 uin).
