19-position vertical FPC connector with ZIF slide lock
The ZIF mechanism uses a slide lock — push the actuator forward to open the contact beams, insert the 0.30 mm thick FPC, then slide it back to clamp the flex against the gold-flashed phosphor bronze contacts. No insertion force on the FPC pads means zero risk of tearing the conductor traces during assembly or field rework.
The gold flash contact finish supports 20 mating cycles — enough for one or two field reconnections over the product life, but not a high-cycle test port. The UL94 V-0 polyamide housing handles the temperature rise from the rated current without softening.
