Pitch, footprint, and board fit
At 1.25mm pitch, this header is denser than the common 2.54mm (0.100-inch) family, so the PCB footprint is tighter — confirm the pad layout matches the 0.049" centerline before routing. The through-hole termination with a 1.70mm post length fits standard 1.6mm boards; the 4.70mm insulation height leaves clearance for mating connectors with backshells.
RoHS compliant. No known direct cross-reference or drop-in replacement from other manufacturers; the HPI series is TE-specific. If stock is tight, verify the mating receptacle part number for the same series to avoid ordering half a connection.
