The TE Connectivity 1-1744416-1 is an 11-position, single-row receptacle housing from the Economy Power II series. The natural polyamide (PA66) body carries a latch lock that gives an audible click when fully mated, holding the pair together under vibration. Contacts are not included; you order the matching crimp terminals separately.
The 0.156" pitch provides creepage distance for basic industrial environments. The latch lock is the primary retention.
Mating and Termination
This receptacle housing mates with the matching Economy Power II header (male pin header, through-hole or surface-mount, same 0.156" pitch). The crimp termination accepts the TE 1-1744404-x series female socket contacts (sold separately) — strip the wire, crimp, insert until the lance locks. Free-hanging (in-line) mounting means no panel cutout needed; the housing sits inline on the wire harness and mates directly to the board-mounted header.
