3-Position Vertical Header with Board Lock
The 1-178313-5 is a 3-position, single-row vertical header from TE's Dynamic D-3100 series.
Board Layout Fit: Pitch, Height, and Keep-Out
The 0.150" (3.81 mm) pitch is wider than typical 2.54 mm signal headers, giving more room for trace routing between pads on a 2-layer board. The insulation height is 0.850" (21.59 mm) above the PCB — account for this z-height when placing adjacent components or enclosure lids. The solder post length is 0.150" (3.81 mm), suitable for standard 1.6 mm thick PCBs. The board lock adds two additional through-hole anchors at the ends of the housing, distributing mechanical stress away from the signal pins.
Rated for Industrial Temperature and Flame Class
The housing is molded from thermoplastic polyester, glass-filled, rated UL94 V-0 — the connector will not sustain a flame in an enclosed equipment fire scenario.
