Panel Mount and Keying
This housing mounts through a panel cutout — the flange and integral latch secure it from the front side, so the mating receptacle plugs in from the opposite face. The polarizing key on the shroud ensures the plug only mates with a receptacle that carries the matching keyway, a real help when you've got a handful of similar D-3100 connectors in the same harness bundle.
This housing accepts TE Dynamic D-3100 series male crimp pins — you'll need to order those as a separate line item on the BOM. The crimp termination means you can field-terminate or harness-build with the exact wire gauge the application calls for, rather than being locked into a pre-molded lead.
