0.80 mm Pitch Mezzanine Receptacle for Tight Board Stacks
The 0.031" (0.80mm) pitch keeps the board footprint compact, while the 0.094" (2.40mm) height above board and 3mm mated stacking height define the gap between parallel PCBs. Outer shroud contacts guide the mating plug and protect the signal pins from damage during assembly.
3 mm Stack Height — What It Means for the Board Layout
The 3mm mated stacking height is the dimension that decides the clearance between the two PCBs. With the receptacle sitting 2.40mm above its own board, the mating plug (from the same Fine Stack series) occupies the remaining 0.60mm of the stack. This is a fixed-height mezzanine pair — no adjustment, no standoffs. The 0.80mm pitch limits trace escape from the inner rows — expect to use micro-vias or blind vias if routing all 12 signals out on a single layer. Two rows of contacts, staggered, give 6 positions per row.
