What This Housing Does in the Harness
The 12 positions at a 5.08 mm pitch and 0.300" (7.62 mm) row spacing separate the crimp barrels in the housing cavity. The polarizing key on the housing prevents a reversed or wrong-series plug from seating in the mating receptacle — a real time-saver when you're pulling multiple D-3200 connectors through the same harness bundle and can't afford a cross-mate at the panel. Operating temperature from -55°C to 105°C means this housing lives comfortably in an industrial cabinet next to a VFD or in an outdoor enclosure that sees seasonal extremes. The glass-filled thermoplastic polyester insulation holds its shape and dielectric strength across that range.
Termination and Mating Reality
The free-hanging (in-line) mount means this plug is intended for the wire side of the connection, not for PCB mounting. The mating receptacle is the corresponding Dynamic D-3200 female housing, same pitch and row count, with the polarizing key slot that accepts this plug's key.
