What the 6.00 mm pitch means for your harness
At 6.00 mm pitch, this housing is wider than the 5.08 mm pitch of the 2069882-6 receptacle or the 2.50 mm of the 1376477-6 plug. The wider pitch gives each contact more plastic wall between cavities, which improves dielectric withstand and lets the housing handle higher current per circuit without heat soak between adjacent terminals. It also means the mating receptacle must be the same 6.00 mm pitch – you cannot cross-mate with a 5.08 mm or 2.50 mm part. Five positions in one row means the connector body is narrow enough to fit in a tight enclosure or along a panel edge.
