The TE Connectivity 1-206062-3 is a backshell with an integrated cable clamp for the CPC (Circular Plastic Connector) series, shell size 11. It clamps onto the cable jacket behind the connector body, taking the strain off the crimp contacts inside the housing. The 180° cable exit routes the cable straight out the back, and the 5/8-24 UNEF thread mates with the matching CPC plug or receptacle backshell thread. The cable opening measures 0.329" (8.36 mm), which fits a cable bundle up to that diameter. The outside diameter of the backshell body is 0.825" (20.96 mm). It comes as a kit with two cable clamp halves and two clamp screws. It's ROHS3 compliant.
Thread Size and Cable Fit
The thread size is 5/8-24 UNEF — a standard UNEF (Unified Extra Fine) thread. This mates with the backshell thread on any CPC shell size 11 connector body. The 0.329" cable opening means the cable bundle must fit within that diameter; anything larger won't pass through the clamp.
