The 5/8-24 UNEF thread mates directly onto the rear of a CPC shell size 11 connector. The cable opening measures 0.329" (8.36 mm) in diameter, which dictates the maximum cable jacket size that passes through the clamp. For a harness builder, this means the backshell accepts a cable bundle or single-jacket cable up to that diameter; anything larger requires a different shell size or a different backshell variant.
