CPC Size 23 Cable Clamp — 1-206138-0
The TE 1-206138-0 is a cable clamp accessory for the CPC (Circular Plastic Connector) series, size 23 shell. It provides strain relief and cable retention at the rear of the connector backshell, routing the cable in a straight 180° exit. The kit includes 3 cable clamp pieces, 2 clamp inserts, and 2 screws — everything needed to secure the cable jacket against pull-out in a harness assembly. The clamp is unshielded, so it does not provide EMI/RFI containment — that is handled by the connector shell or a separate shielded backshell.
Thread and Cable Opening — Fit Check
The thread is 1 3/8-18 UNEF-2A, a UNEF (Unified Extra Fine) thread common on CPC size 23 backshells. It mates with the matching thread on the CPC connector body or an adapter. The cable opening measures 0.703" (17.86mm) across, which sets the maximum cable jacket diameter the clamp can grip. For a cable bundle smaller than that, the included clamp inserts take up the slack to centre the cable and prevent movement.
