Discrete-Wire IDC Termination at 4.00 mm Pitch
Closed-End Housing and IDC Termination
The housing features a Closed End design, meaning the IDC slots terminate at the back wall of the connector — no wire pass-through. This is typical for a board-mount IDC where the wire is inserted from the top and the insulation is displaced onto the tin contact tines inside the slot. The through-hole right-angle mounting keeps the terminated wires running parallel to the PCB, which simplifies cable routing in tight enclosures.
