The housing is natural in color and includes a feed-through feature, allowing the wire to pass through the connector body for a clean termination.
Pitch and Footprint: 0.157" (4.00mm) Board-Side
The board-side pitch is 0.157" (4.00mm), matching the cable pitch exactly. This means the PCB layout uses a simple 2-pin header footprint at 4.00mm spacing — no pitch translation or fan-out needed. The right-angle through-hole pins are sized for manual or wave-solder assembly.
IDC Termination: No Stripping, No Crimping
No wire stripping or separate crimp terminals are required — the wire is terminated directly into the connector body. This is a production-speed advantage for harness builders: one step instead of three. The feed-through feature lets the wire pass through the housing, so the termination point is visible for inspection.
Contact Finish and Sourcing Notes
The contacts are finished in tin, which is the standard choice for cost-sensitive, low-mating-cycle applications. The connector is ROHS3 compliant.
