IDC Receptacle for 10-Conductor Ribbon Cable
The TE Connectivity AMP-Latch 1-215919-0 is a 10-position IDC receptacle designed for mass-termination to 0.100" pitch ribbon cable. The gray housing carries a polarizing key to prevent mismating, and the feed-through feature lets you daisy-chain multiple receptacles on the same ribbon without cutting the cable.
Termination and Harness Fit
This is an IDC (insulation displacement) connector — you press the ribbon cable onto the fork contacts, and the insulation is displaced to make contact with the conductor. No crimp tool, no wire stripping; a simple hand press or pneumatic tool does the whole 10-position termination in one stroke.
Mating Half and Cross-Shop
This receptacle mates with a 10-position AMP-Latch header (0.100" pitch, 2 rows). If your BOM calls for more circuits, the 1-226733-4 is the same AMP-Latch IDC receptacle but with 17 positions — same pitch, same termination style, same gold plating.
