M.2 (NGFF) Card Edge Connector — 67-Position Right-Angle SMT
The TE Connectivity 1-2199230-5 is a 67-position female M.2 (NGFF) card edge connector, designed to accept the standard M.2 module edge card. It uses a 0.50 mm pitch dual-row contact layout, which matches the gold finger pattern on M.2 SSDs, WLAN cards, and other NGFF form-factor modules. The right-angle SMT mounting orients the card parallel to the motherboard, keeping the module height low inside the enclosure. Gold-plated contacts with 15.0 µin thickness on the mating surface provide reliable signal integrity across the rated mating cycles.
The dual-row readout means the connector contacts both sides of the M.2 card edge, doubling the signal density without increasing the board footprint width.
This connector is surface-mount, right-angle — the solder tails are on the bottom side of the connector body, reflowed to pads on the motherboard. The thermoplastic insulation body is rated for reflow temperatures, and the connector ships in Tape & Reel packaging for automated pick-and-place assembly.
