2.00 mm Pitch, 16-Position Dual-Row Receptacle
The surface-mount termination with pick-and-place feature suits automated assembly, and the bottom or top entry design gives layout flexibility: the same part can sit on the top or bottom of the board, simplifying the PCB stack-up.
The housing is molded from liquid crystal polymer (LCP) rated UL94 V-0, which holds its dimensional stability through reflow and resists flame propagation inside the equipment enclosure. Phosphor bronze contacts with a gold mating finish (15.0 µin) and tin post finish (12.0 µin) balance corrosion resistance at the interface with solderability at the board. The 15.0 µin gold layer is the standard thickness for moderate-cycle applications — enough to prevent fretting corrosion in a controlled environment without the cost of heavy gold.
