It terminates solid or stranded wire from 12-30 AWG using a screw-driven rising cage clamp — the clamp lifts against the conductor, not the screw tip, so the wire is trapped without strand damage. The green polyamide (PA66) housing is rated for 24 A at 300 V, making this a power-level interconnect for control cabinets, power supplies, and industrial PCBs where a reliable field-terminated connection is needed.
Screw torque and wire termination
The rising cage clamp is tightened to 0.79 Nm (7.0 Lb-In) using an M3 screw. The clamp material is brass with nickel plating; the screw is also brass with nickel plating. The contact surface is brass with tin plating. This is a field-serviceable termination — strip the wire, insert into the clamp opening, torque the screw, and the clamp rises to grip the conductor.
Ganging multiple blocks with the interlocking side feature
The housing includes an interlocking (side) feature that lets you snap multiple blocks together side-by-side without gaps.
