What This PCB Terminal Block Is
The TE Connectivity 1-2834021-3 is a 3-position PCB terminal block on a 0.098" (2.50mm) pitch, using a screwless push-button clamp for wire termination. It accepts 20-26 AWG wire and routes the connection vertically with the board. The green polyamide (PA66) housing provides visual identification on the panel, and the kinked through-hole pins anchor the block during wave solder.
The screwless push-button clamp terminates solid or ferruled stranded wire without tools — a time saver on the assembly line compared to screw-clamp blocks. The 20-26 AWG range covers common control wiring, but the clamp force is designed for solid wire; fine-stranded wire benefits from a ferrule.
