Inline Splice for Permanent Harness Connections
It uses a poke-in termination — push the stripped wire in, no crimp tool needed — which speeds up harness assembly in lighting and appliance wiring. The orange thermoplastic housing is free-hanging (no panel mount), and the latch holder keeps the mating halves locked against vibration. Rated for 600V and a dual current rating of 3A or 8A depending on the wire gauge used — 8A on 16 AWG, 3A on 22 AWG. With only 10 mating cycles, this is a set-and-forget splice, not a disconnect point for field service.
Accepts 16-22 AWG wire directly into the poke-in port — no ferrule or crimp terminal required. The contact spring inside the housing grips the conductor and maintains pressure. For 16 AWG wire, the contact is rated 8A; for 22 AWG, derate to 3A.
