DuoPlug IDC Receptacle, 6-Position, Keyed 4/5
It uses a female blade socket contact with tin plating, free-hanging (in-line) mounting, and a blue housing keyed 4/5.
IDC termination means the wire insulation is pierced by the contact slot as the cable is pressed in — no crimp tool, no stripped ends. The 22-24 AWG range covers common signal and low-power wiring in control and lighting harnesses. The female blade socket geometry mates with the corresponding male blade in the header.
Keying and Mating
Keyed 4/5 means the housing has a mechanical polarisation feature that only allows mating with a header of the same key code. This prevents a 6-position receptacle from being plugged into a header wired for a different circuit layout.
