Shielded RJ45 Jack for Cat5 Ethernet Links
The shielded shell includes an EMI finger that grounds the shield to the chassis before the signal pins make contact, reducing radiated emissions at the cabinet exit.
Board Fit and Assembly
The right-angle orientation and through-hole solder tails anchor the jack against the plug insertion force — the board guide aligns the part during wave solder, and the EMI fingers on the shell make contact with the chassis ground plane on the PCB. The single-row, single-port layout keeps the footprint compact for a 1U rack-mount switch or a wall-plate PCB. Tape & Reel packaging is available for the reel-fed assembly line; Cut Tape is also an option for prototype or low-volume builds.
Lifecycle and Compliance
No formal successor or cross-reference is recorded, so the BOM line stays stable for ongoing production.
