Plug Housing for Inline Harness Builds
The TE 1-480318-9 is a 2-position plug housing from the Commercial MATE-N-LOK series, designed for free-hanging inline wire-to-wire or wire-to-board connections. The 5.08 mm pitch gives enough spacing for 14-18 AWG power circuits without crowding the crimp terminals. This is the plug side — mates with the matching Commercial MATE-N-LOK receptacle header (sold separately). The detent lock holds the mated pair together against moderate vibration — no secondary latch required for typical stationary equipment.
Contacts Not Included — Order Separately
This housing ships without contacts. The female socket terminals must be ordered as a separate line item — crimp them onto the wire, then insert into the housing cavities. Leaving the terminal order off the BOM is the most common delay on this part; confirm the terminal part number for your wire gauge before the build starts.
