The One-Position Advantage — and the Catch
A single-position housing is a building block: you use one per circuit in a harness, and the friction lock keeps each plug mated to its receptacle without needing a multi-way shroud. The catch is that you must source the correct crimp terminal — the housing accepts a female socket contact (crimp termination), and the mating half is a corresponding plug or receptacle with a tab contact. No pitch applies here because it's a single circuit; the 0.098" (2.50mm) pitch on the 6-position sibling (1-1376477-6) shows the series spacing, but this one-position housing doesn't constrain board layout.
