For a complete mated pair, you also need the corresponding plug housing — the 1-480698-0 is the 6-position plug that mates with this receptacle. Stock both halves or you end up with an orphan housing on the shelf.
Mating and Installation
This receptacle housing mounts to a panel cutout using integral latches — no additional hardware required for the panel fix. The latch holder fastening engages with the mating plug housing's locking ramp for a vibration-resistant connection. The 2-row, 6-position layout accepts male pin contacts crimped to 14-20 AWG wire (typical for this series). For field service, the contacts can be removed with a extraction tool if a wire needs replacement, making this a serviceable interconnect rather than a one-shot assembly.
