Three-Position Receptacle Housing for Harness Assembly
The TE Connectivity 1-480701-9 is a 3-position receptacle housing from the Universal MATE-N-LOK series, designed for wire-to-wire or wire-to-panel power interconnects in industrial and appliance harnesses. It accepts both male and female crimp contacts (ordered separately) and mounts to a panel via snap-in retention, with a locking ramp that provides positive latching against vibration.
What It Mates With and What Contacts to Order
This housing mates with the matching Universal MATE-N-LOK plug housing (sold separately). The locking ramp on the receptacle engages with a corresponding latch on the plug. The housing accepts crimp terminals — order contacts separately; the housing ships empty.
Panel-Mount Fit and Temperature Range
The snap-in panel mount allows the receptacle to be installed into a rectangular cutout in a sheet metal or plastic panel, securing it without hardware. The black color is the standard offering for this series.
