Receptacle Housing for Universal MATE-N-LOK
It accepts either male or female crimp contacts (sold separately) and snaps into a panel cutout for fixed mounting.
Three-Row Layout and Panel Fit
Three rows at a 0.250" (6.35 mm) row spacing give this housing a rectangular footprint — 9 positions arranged 3x3. The locking ramp on both sides provides an audible click when mated with the corresponding plug housing, and the snap-in panel mount secures the connector to a chassis or bulkhead without hardware. This layout is common for power distribution junctions where multiple circuits route through a single interface point.
Contacts and Termination
Crimp termination — the housing itself holds no contacts. The buyer must order the appropriate Universal MATE-N-LOK pin or socket terminals separately, then crimp them onto the wire before inserting into the housing. The contact cavity accepts either male or female contacts, so the same housing can serve as the receptacle half for either a pin-header or socket-header plug. Always confirm the terminal part number against the wire gauge and current requirement before committing the BOM.
