Temperature Range and Where It Gets Used
The polyamide (nylon) insulation material holds up to the 105°C ceiling without softening the latch lock retention force. If the application sees sustained temperature above 105°C or below -55°C, step up to a higher-rated housing material — but for the vast majority of automotive and industrial harness builds, this range is sufficient.
