PCI Card-Edge Connector for 120-Position Slots
It uses a 0.050" (1.27mm) contact pitch with a dual-row readout, meaning it contacts both sides of the card edge for a total of 120 connections. The slot is gapped for a 0.062" (1.57mm) thick PCB, which is the standard thickness for desktop PCI cards.
Board Layout Fit: Pitch, Positions, and Staggered Termination
At 120 positions on a 0.050" pitch, this connector occupies a board-edge footprint about 3.0" long. The through-hole termination is staggered, which means the solder tails are arranged in two offset rows to ease PCB routing between pads. The dual readout mirrors the contact pattern on both sides of the slot, so the board layout must account for traces coming off both the top and bottom layers of the card edge. The natural-colored thermoplastic insulator includes a board guide feature to align the card during insertion.
