The 1-5177983-2: This TE Connectivity Free Height (FH) receptacle carries 60 positions on a 0.031" (0.80mm) pitch — a dense signal array for board-to-board stacking in compact enclosures. An integral board guide aligns the connector pair during assembly, protecting the 60 contacts from shear damage when the boards are mated.
Stack Height Flexibility from 5mm to 8mm
This receptacle supports four mated stacking heights: 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, and 8mm — the designer picks the height that fits the component clearance between the two PCBs. The 0.148" (3.75mm) height above board of the receptacle itself leaves room for the mating plug to sit within the stack height budget.
Surface-Mount Assembly and Tube Packaging
