Board-to-Board Mezzanine Plug, 0.80 mm Pitch
The SMT tails and integral board guide align the part during reflow, so it handles pick-and-place without skew. The height is set by the receptacle half, not this plug — so the same 1-5179030-1 can serve multiple board-spacing requirements in a design family by swapping the receptacle.
Stack Height Flexibility
The four stacking heights — 7 mm, 11 mm, 15 mm, and 19 mm — cover a range of mezzanine gaps. The plug itself has a fixed height above board of 6.60 mm (0.260"), so the total stack is plug height plus receptacle height.
Surface-Mount Assembly and Board Guide
The board guide (a molded alignment feature) centers the plug over the footprint pads during placement, reducing tombstoning and skew on a fine-pitch 0.80 mm layout. The part ships in tube packaging, which is standard for pick-and-place feeders that accept tube-fed components.
