Shielded RJ45 Jack for Panel-Mount Ethernet
The shielded shell with an integrated EMI finger provides a low-impedance ground path to the panel, reducing radiated emissions in industrial Ethernet and telecom equipment. Rated Cat5, the connector supports 100 MHz signaling for 100Base-T networks — not rated for the higher frequency demands of Cat5e or Cat6.
Right-angle orientation (90° angle) places the jack parallel to the PCB edge, suiting it for panel-mount applications where the Ethernet cable enters from the rear. Through-hole solder termination provides stronger mechanical retention than SMT, resisting the insertion and extraction forces of the mating RJ45 plug.
The housing is polyamide (PA), nylon, and the part is ROHS3 compliant. Shielding and EMI finger provide the grounding path needed for EMC compliance in equipment intended for controlled environments.
