Standard DE-9 D-Sub Plug — 9 Positions, Through-Hole Solder
The TE Connectivity AMPLIMITE HD-20 1-5747871-6 is a standard D-Sub plug with male pins, shell size 1 (DE, E) — the familiar 9-position, 2-row layout that mates with any standard DE-9 receptacle. The through-hole solder termination puts the pins straight through the board, so the connector sits vertical to the PCB. The flange comes with female screwlocks (4-40) on the mating side, so the plug locks to the mating receptacle with standard D-Sub hardware.
Each contact is rated 6 A at 125 V. The gold-plated brass contacts handle repeated mate/unmate cycles without corrosion, and the UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing keeps the connector inside the equipment enclosure.
