Filtered Power Entry Module for Commercial Equipment
The TE Connectivity 1-6609008-7 is a filtered IEC 320-C14 power inlet from the EJH / Corcom series, combining a standard 3-position male-blade receptacle with a commercial-grade EMI/RFI filter network in a single panel-mount package. The 3 A filter rating sets the continuous load ceiling — the internal choke and capacitors, not the quick-connect tabs, define the current limit. This is the part you specify when a plain C14 inlet won't pass conducted emissions testing and you don't want a separate filter can on the harness.
Panel Fit and Termination
Snap-in panel mounting accepts sheet thickness from 0.031" to 0.068" (0.79 mm to 1.73 mm) — the retention fingers engage the cutout edge without hardware. The panel cutout dimensions are variable by manufacturer; measure your chassis opening against the TE product drawing before committing the BOM. Termination is via 0.250" (6.3 mm) quick-connect tabs, the standard Faston-style interface for power entry modules. No fuse holder is included — if your design requires a fuse drawer, look at the EJH series variants with the F designation in the base number.
