It's the male half of a power or signal interconnect — you'll load it into a Multimate III+ housing to build a wire-to-board or wire-to-wire harness.
This contact accepts 24-26 AWG stranded or solid wire.
Plating and Duty Cycle
Tin contacts are cost-effective for applications that don't see frequent mate/unmate cycles or corrosive atmospheres. If your harness needs high mating-cycle life or operates in a harsh environment, you'd typically step up to a gold-plated contact in the same Multimate III+ family. For a one-time crimp-and-forget installation inside an enclosure, this tin contact is the standard choice.
