Stamped Pin for Multimate III+ Housings
That thickness is well into the heavy-duty range — it supports repeated insertion and extraction cycles without wearing through to the base metal, which matters when the contact is serviced in the field or used in a connector that sees periodic unmating.
Rated for 14-18 AWG stranded wire, the 1-66361-0 uses a standard crimp termination. The stamped construction gives consistent crimp barrel dimensions across the production run, so the pull-off force stays within spec when the correct TE hand tool or automatic applicator is used. The 14 AWG end of the range carries the full rated current of the Multimate III+ contact system; 18 AWG is a step down in ampacity but still within the terminal's crimp range.
