It accepts 20-24 AWG wire, making it the typical choice for internal harness runs where the wire gauge matches the current draw of the circuit. This is the male half of the contact pair; you'll need the matching stamped socket (look for the 66564 series base number) and the appropriate Multimate III+ housing for the circuit count your BOM calls for.
Crimp termination with the correct TE tooling is the only way to get the rated pull-out force from this contact. The 20-24 AWG range covers the most common signal and low-power wire sizes in a control cabinet.
